Dance Classes
"Top Flight's Dance" is returning to our Fall I term and we feel a wonderful addition for your child. Offering relaxed and affordable dance lessons in a positively fun environment! Top Flight Dance is a great way for your child to learn basic dance skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Classes will be offered in ballet, tap, and jazz for students age 3 through teens. The positive environment will allow your child to experience stretching, movement, basic dance terminology and steps, self-expression, and will help build your child's confidence.
Boys and Girls: Ages 3-4 years old | 45 minutes
We will focus on creative movement, and learning how to use the body as a form of expression in dance. Students will practice ballet and tap each week. They will learn basic movemen t and have fun being introduced to dance!
Boys and Girls: Ages 5-7 years old | 55 minutes
Students will practice ballet and tap each week. Students will learn basic ballet and tap terminology and technique. The students will also learn to begin putting steps together in short combinations.
Boys and Girls: Ages 8-10 years old | 55 minutes
Students will gain a better understanding of dance in the practice of ballet each week, and jazz and tap every other week. The students will focus on ballet and tap technique and be introduced to fun jazz movements. We will also begin to learn how to put the basics together in short combinations.
Family Dance - parent and child 55 minutes
Students will gain a better understanding of various dance techniques. Ballet, tap and jazz will be practiced every week. We will focus on more difficult steps, while continuing to practice the basics. Each student will enjoy being challenged and will gain a love for using dance as an exercise as well as an art.
